2D Animation
A walk cycle with a scrolling background and foreground that I made as part of a Continuing Education class I attended with the School of Visual Arts over a summer. I used After Effects to create a multi-layered background that scrolls with the character as they walk. This was a great start learning how to use After Effects towards creating 2D animation.
An animated .gif I created in Photoshop. This was from another Continuing Education class from the School of Visual Arts teaching digital 2D animation. I learned the basics of 2D animation from this class, leading me to create a number of short animations like the one above. In this example, the character himself is traditionally animated frame-by-frame, while the mushroom moves via the use of keyframes.
